1. I've already had two nervous staredowns with 2 communist guards. I can only assume they are mean face grillin' because I'm foreign.

2. So far, my own informal survey of Beijingers shows that the Wu-Tang Mountain is far more famous than the Wu-Tang Clan. Also: The Shaolin Monestary is apparently not the home of Raekwon the Chef, nor the Ghostface Killah.

3. Here's a rundown of the 14 Class A War Criminals buried at Yasukini Shrine. No wonder China is more than a little pissed. I heard an interesting suggestion the other day though:

Why not simply remove the remains of the Class A's from Yasukini?
