Drug/Gun Tunnel: Digging For Fire
There is this old woman
She lives down the road
You can often find her
Kneeling inside of her hole
And i often ask her
"Are you looking for the mother lode?"

To hear the media talk about the "Drug Tunnel", it seems the drugs all flow from BC to the US:
The DEA and the White House have complained previously about the volume of Canadian marijuana (known as "B.C. Bud") entering the U.S. through Washington state.

An estimated 880 to 2,200 tons of marijuana are grown in Canada annually, according to a report in Time magazine last year. Police estimate 90 per cent of the crop ends up in the U.S.

...Which is funny, because the Hell's Angels just got busted with a tonne of hand guns and loads of cocaine.
Vancouver police and the RCMP teamed up on Project EPANDORA, a 23-month operation that led to the discovery of two crystal meth labs, 20 kilograms of methamphetamine, 20 kg of cocaine and 70 kg of marijuana.

A cache of weapons was also seized, including five handguns, fully automatic weapons with silencers, 11 sticks of dynamite with detonation cord and blasting caps, four grenades and ammunition. Police also displayed bags containing $200,000 in cash that were seized.

Um, I think we have a cause to complain too, no? Or did BC suddenly become top dog in coca plant grow ops and gun manufacturing?
