Ghetto Hutong Star: Shamrocks! makes Chinese State TV look easy
Dippin' through hoods
(What hoods?)
Dongcheng, Chaoyang
South Central up to the West side

Yesterday was a big day..We cruised through the hoods and the alleyways, through the Drum and Bell Towers and into the home hu-tong of one of Beijings more established families.

Later, after a huge and beer filled afternoon, we took in Revenge of the Sith. We've been working hard at the Beijing thing, so we figured we needed a break from this hardworking holiday. Anyways, after the movie, we were interviewed by CCTV Channel 9, the one English language channel in China. It's state owned, so I kept some things to myself, but it was kind of neat to be asked about Beijing and Hey! I might be on TV!

Probably the only one who will possibly see me is Myrick...but if you are watching CCTV (probably not) I'm the travel weary hoser in the black Canada hat and orange storm trooper T-shirt on state TV.
