I was initially very disappointed by their first effort [Audioslave], shelved it for a while and pretty much wrote them off. But I've been listening to them again, and its got its hook in me. Maybe the new album will require the same patience.
The true test of a classic album is if you can wear it out at first through overplay - then, years later go back and listen to it again and develop a whole new appreciation for it.
