Matsukan Samba/Spring Equinox

The J-Pop show SMAP*SMAP is spoofing the Matsukan Samba, the most ridiculous dance craze in Japan. Imagine a Shogun in a gold sequin kimono with an entourage of 100 geishas all dancing to the Japanese take on the Samba.

Today is a holiday in Japan, celebrating the Spring Equinox. It's nice to have a day off and I'm hoping the warm weather sticks around.
