He was talking about Peter C. Newman. I actually met Mr. Newman at a university graduation ceremony where he was giving the commencement speech, and he seemed like a pretty good guy. Newman is a man who escaped the holocaust and made it in one of the few Jewish families that scrapped their way into Canada during the war, and I think he should be given a little leeway by those were born into privilege.

Besides, can you really call a guy who permanently wears a sailor's hat a 'scribe of the brie-and-chardonnay classes'?
