Shadowboxing when I heard you on the radio...Is the blogosphere on a holiday? The big story is that Chretien is going to be facing Gomery today, and nobody is even noticing--> Also, the Kinsella v. Spector fight is heating up: yesterday, Warren put this up.....

February 7, 2005 - Am I going to respond? Yes. But not on a web site.Oooooooooooooooohhh. Good.
I don't mean to say that I hope Norman gets hit with some Klappsuit, but if Warren finally says he will take the Globe and Spector to court, maybe this will be the end of his endless threats and bullying if he loses in court. BTW: I'm no legal expert, but I don't believe that what Norm said (ie: Why isn't the LSUC looking into Kinsella's conduct?) was really actionable...I'll second the motion:
Let's have the LSUC take a quick look into:
1. Multiple threats of citizens exercising free speech....
2. Considerable attacks on a sitting Judge, who was/is unable to respond to his attacks...
3. Attacking/threatening reporters
----->I think that any *real* Clash fan would agree that Warren is the definition of the Clampdown.<------
One more thing he puts on his site:
Norm Spector: (Almost) Million-Dollar Crybaby.I guess that's a champagne socialist way of snubbing the more inferior prolertarians. This guy lists Lenin as his hero? Oh, and a Clash fan, too. What do you think he would say to Strummer when Joe was homeless?
Anyways, in back on the best coast, Norm gets some colour back and starts defending our checks and balances:
Maybe...A free press is what we need: Free of intimidation.One-party states such as Canada are prone to corruption, as everybody knows. And on balance, Canada has fared pretty well compared to, say, Italy when it was dominated by the Christian Democrats, or India under the Congress Party, or Mexico under the PRI. But one reason Canada has fared well is that the natural tendencies of a one-party state have been checked by powerful institutional restraints: an honest civil service; a free press; competitive businesses who resent being squeezed for funds.
