OTTAWA (CP) - Newfoundland Premier Danny Williams says Canadian flags will be back up on provincial buildings once the rest of the country understands what's at issue.

"When we feel that the Canadian people recognize the issue and have accepted the statement of protest that we're making, they will go up," Williams said Sunday in a television interview.

You had sympathy until you tried extortion.
