OTTAWA - Governor General Adrienne Clarkson used her annual New Year's message to pay tribute to the work of Canadian soldiers, past and present.

Clarkson delivered the taped message from Camp Julien outside Kabul, the headquarters of Canadian soldiers serving in Afghanistan.

The same GG married to Mr. "Let the troops do bakesales for their money". The same GG appointed by regime that decimated the forces. The same GG who swims in piles of taxpayer cash while the troops do with 1980's Altis and scant armour.

Suck it, Clarkson. And the shut the hell up.
