Peace in the Irish NorthEast.
While peace in the streets is the new status quo, Irish leadership is watching history pass them by:
..while the power-sharing deal remains unsigned, peace on the streets is a reality. A generation ago 16-year olds were throwing stones at British soldiers.
Today Ulster's teenagers are more likely to be working in Tesco.

It's true. Although, the cops don't roam Catholic West Belfast, and when they do they are still pelted with rocks. And the Catholics are still sidelined in violent ghettos. If equality and democratic representation doesn't come to them, it may be a while before the troubles really end for good.
