38 Soldiers Killed in Falluja?
I don't know how to gauge that really, except that it sounds like a lot.

U-S forces are now in control of the Iraqi city of Fallujah.

The U-S Marine general who designed the ground attack on Fallujah says this time, they did it right.

Major General Richard Natonski says the assault on the Iraqi city succeeded in part because of lessons learned in April.

The military says 38 U-S troops have been killed and 275 wounded in the offensive.

More than 12-hundred insurgents are believed to have been killed.

One thing you can always count on is that the Marines always take a few with them on the way out, as you might see from the 1200 body count for the enemy.
