Another Outrage

It seems commentators are loathe to mention this atrocity: Muslim extremists have again targeted children. Frickin' children. And the condemnation across the arab and muslim world? Non-existent.

Explosions near Russian siege school

Two large explosions were heard today near a school in North Ossetia where rebels are holding some 330 people hostage for the third day, an AFP correspondent reported.

After the second blast, armed volunteers began moving journalists and family members gathered near the school away from the scene.

The first explosion occurred some 500 metres from the school shortly after midnight and the second larger one seemed to go off slightly further away from the building.

No troops could immediately be seen moving toward the building from the spot where journalists were allowed to gather.

Negotiators have secured the release of 30 hostages already, so that's a good start, and Putin has vowed "no force" in this operation. Which is kind of vague because gassing the whole lot of them would involve no force as well. If gassing was used, I hope the plan goes a lot better than the last time. Yikes. Russia is under seige like Israel, the Sudan, Nigeria, India....all the borders of the Ummah.
