Iraq's Leadership gets real: Its time for a rumble in the jungle

You can't hide from the man with the master plan
Huntin for your head "How I Could Just Kill a Man"
Ayo, where you at baby keep your head low, damn
Got you on the camcorder in the black minivan
You crossed line, time for the light to blind
You can run but I never be far behind
You never know when it's gonna come, paranoid
Cuz the mentality is seek and destroy
Better look around before you come out your door
Cuz shit catches up but you don't want no more
Only time will provide the right sign for real
You might die cuz you hesitate to find the steel

You better never let me catch you alone!
Bring it on, bring it on! Bring it on, bring it on!
You might die in the Valley of Chrome!
Keepin on, keepin on, keep, keep, keepin on!

The Iraqis are feeling their oats: They've got a military and a short fuse when it comes to traitors. Canada had its own in Riel, who raised an army against his own government when our government was young and weak. A parrallel power to the state was faced down and quashed, just like the FLQ was destroyed by Trudeau.

This battle is no different. Let the bleeding hearts worry about the armed men in the streets who are protecting liberty. How far will Allawi and Shaalan go? Just watch them:

Iraqi Defence Minister urges raid on shrine

Associated Press

Najaf, Iraq — Iraqi Defence Minister Hazem Shaalan said the government could raid the Imam Ali Shrine as early as Wednesday in a final push to root out militants hiding there.

“Today is a day to set this compound free from its imprisonment and its vile occupation,” Mr. Shaalan said during a meeting with tribal sheiks and provincial Governor Adnan al-Zurufi.

Militants loyal to radical Shia cleric Muqtada al-Sadr have been fighting U.S. forces in Najaf for nearly two weeks. They have taken refuge in the shrine compound, from where they launch some of their attacks on the Americans.

A delegate at the National Conference, meanwhile, said Wednesday that Mr. al-Sadr has agreed to withdraw fighters from the shrine.

Mr. Shaalan's threat came a day after Mr. al-Sadr failed to show up for a meeting with a peace delegation sent from Baghdad. The delegation instead presented its peace proposal to his aides.

Now that the peace talks have not worked, Mr. Shaalan said, “We have to turn to what's stronger and greater in order to teach them a lesson that they won't forget, and to teach others a lesson as well.”

Let freedom reign. Way to be.
