Barghouti is sentenced

now let the fools show their true colours:

Death threats after Fatah chief sentenced to life
June 8, 2004

Gaza: Militants in the Fatah movement of the Palestinian President, Yasser Arafat, have threatened to kidnap and execute Israeli soldiers and civilians to avenge a life jail term given to one of their leaders, Marwan Barghouti.

"We urge all our fighters to kidnap Zionists, children, women and soldiers and sentence them to death," the Al-Aqsa Martyrs' Brigades said.

wow, what a lovely sentiment.

"The continuation of the intifada is the only path to independence," he said. "No matter how many they arrest or kill, they will not break the determination of the Palestinian people.

"I don't care whether I am sentenced to one life sentence, or 10 or 50; my day of liberty is the day the occupation ends."

its funny, about a year ago the left wing press was pumping up barghouti as the 'moderate' who would come out of jail and lead palestinians to their own state: a state of 'women and children killers'. charming.
