Good News: Creed May have broken up.

They're are a christian band. maybe their message was finally heard by G-D...which is probably why he didn't want them to be a band anymore....from muchmusic.

According to Wind-Up Records, Creed's Scott Stapp and Mark Tremonti are both working on solo projects. According to the rumour mill, the band has broken up. Tremonti allegedly inked his solo deal soon after the now infamous Chicago concert where Stapp rolled around the stage before stopping the show short. Apparently Tremonti told Stapp that they are still best friends, but after 10 years he needs to move on. Stapp's solo album is due out by the end of the year. Tremonti anticipates a late summer date for his solo effort.

Meanwhile, it looks like Scott Stapp will not have any tracks on the upcoming CD "Music Inspired by the Passion of the Christ." Rumoured contributors Beyonce Knowles and Ben Moody are also missing from a recent tracklisting.
