News reports at the time quoted Port Moody police saying that Tabesh was wielding a machete and running at a police officer when he was shot.

.... is comparabe to killing an unarmed, harmless photojournalist taking pictures of demonstrators. Assholes. Obviously they are just trying to take the heat off themselves but it speaks volumes....what jackasses. when individual people do this, they are casually tossed aside as too vile to deal with. people who don't take responsibility for their actions or their underlings are not to be considered high calibur people.
