More WMD Rheotoric
Mother Jones has the wrap up the WMD arguments on the left......

....the last item is interesting...its pertaining to "meddling". ...Moral Equivalence seems to be fad these days... but let's address the point of the matter. Bad Mutha Jones points out that the US "meddling" in iraq is just as bad as the Iranians "meddling" in iraq.

This seems just a tad over the top. Right now the US is attempting (granted, without a lot success) to build a stable, democratic state in iraq (can we all agree that this is a good thing?) while Iran is trying to bring its happy Islamic state utopia to Iraq. Well, its pretty obvious which side i'll take. Too bad Mofo Jones can't/won't take the high road...rigid ideology is a bitch...but easy! "whatever bush does, we're against it!" its a lame, lazy and destructive thinking...and US public is not buying this Upper West Side crap from the NY Times.

US Democrats
I believe (and not because i want to) that a very stale state of american politics is about to unfold. Weak democratic presidential candidates and a weakened democratic opposition in the house will mean a very unchallenged government for the next few years, and that is not good. 2008 may see Hillary v. Gore and possibly Hillary v. a TBA Republican. That should be a good fight...maybe the senate and congress will see a good challenge in 2006, too...
