Hamas: We are for an Israel and a Palestinian state side by side
I don't think i buy this 'one-off' declaration from Hamas....yet. Especially since they just pledged to destroy Israel at all costs, no matter what. Oh yes, and it says in Hamas' charter that destroying israel is its prime objective..

also of note: the article refers to the possible ceasefire as a "hudna", which in the muslim world is a cessation of violence so that the muslim side (Hamas) can get its strength back to fight again. Since Israel is clearly causing some havoc with Hamas, this is cleary what Hamas hopes to do. When Hamas changes their charter to say "we want to live in peace in the westbank beside Israel" i'll believe it. i'd like to believe it but i don't. especially when the attempted or actual attempts against the Jewish state are reaching about 25-30 per day.
