Off the Rails/Out of Meds

I remember when, I remember, I remember when I lost my mind
There was something so pleasant about that place.
Even your emotions had an echo
In so much space

Mark Penn is toast:
Mark Penn, Sen. Hillary Clinton's chief strategist and longtime confidant stepped down from the presidential campaign late Sunday night.

His resignation came after a politically embarrassing week during which it was reported that he met with Colombia's ambassador to the U.S. to discuss passage of a bilateral free-trade agreement -- a pact Clinton opposes.

Meanwhile, the Clinton campaign releases the Clinton's tax returns for the last 8 years showing a whopping 109M in income:
Tax returns released by former first couple Hillary and Bill Clinton revealed they earned 109 million dollars over eight years, and questions have been raised bout the sources of much of their wealth.

A day after Hillary Clinton's White House campaign posted the 221 pages of personal financial documents on her website, analysts and media focused on the 52 million dollars Bill Clinton earned for speaking engagements, pointing to links between those who hired him and donations to her current campaign to win the Democratic presidential nomination.

So the anti-free trade warrior, who was supposedly in the White House executive decision-making team when NAFTA was signed off but who now opposes free-trade is caught with her top advisor negotiating free trade agreements with Colombia, while she also poses as the candidate of Joe Six Pack while raking in 109M in 8 years (did she mention she was a director for Walmart for six years?).

.........

At some point, the contradictions of the Clinton campaign will start a time-warp back to the '90's and we'll all be swallowed up by it.....

Grab your plaid jackets and ripped jeans, kids, we're going to listen to Pearl Jam and start buying tech stocks (Yes, Pets.com is going to kick. Ass. For real).

Here's Burial to bring us back to the future:
