WoT, Continued

So what do you say to somebody you hate
Or anybody tryna bring trouble your way
Wanna resolve things in a bloodier way
Just study your tape of NWA

In London, Red Ken lays it out for the would-be killers:

``If you are dealing with someone who might be a suicide bomber, if they remain conscious, they could trigger plastic explosives or whatever device is on them,'' said Mayor Ken Livingstone. ``Therefore, overwhelmingly in these circumstances, it is going to be a shoot-to-kill policy.
......But they really should have been sure that the guy they smoked on the streets yesterday was a threat:

Police chased him into a subway car, pinned him to the ground and shot him in the head and torso, an eyewitness said.
......
Police haven't said whether the suspect was carrying a bomb
For the sake of those involved, I hope he was.

Meanwhile, in the '67 War tipping point Sharm El-Sheikh, over 80 have died. Al-Qaeda has claimed responsibility:
The Al-Qaeda Organisation in the Levant and Egypt said it carried out the multiple bombings as a "response against the global evil powers which are spilling the blood of Muslims in Iraq, Afghanistan, Palestine, Chechnya."
Which makes sense, since Egypt has invaded all of the those countries, and Egypt's civilian countrymen have been on a rampage against Islam. Or not.

Wait a second, you mean that Al-Qaeda's motives are completely non-sensical and irrelevant? Better inform the CBC.

Let's be realistic: most of the Canadian MSM and blogosphere is intensely inwardly focused. That is: They watch Canada first, the US second, and international issues are a distant third.

North America really has to start looking outside its narrow tunnel vision when it comes world events.
