The Tyranny Vs. The Truth
We don't want the monsters taking over
Tip toe around
Tie him down
--Radiohead

Our own homegrown monster, Jean Chretien, has decided with his army of Chretienites to attack the 'inappropriateness' of Gomery's "stating of the obvious" a while back.

Well, since we're on the subject of "inappropriateness", how about this:
Grand Mere, Shawinigate, Kick backs, Gagliano, contracts on napkins, HRDC, Ad Scam, Jane Stewart, Chuck Guite, Groupaction, RCMP investigations, Conflict of Interest, Censorship laws, strangling protestors, western alienation, coddling quebec, coming within 0.5% of losing the country, undemocratic smearing of political opponents, slush funds, blocked peerage.

And what did lil' Jean actually accomplish? The Clarity Act. And that's it. A prudent move that was made 2 years too late. Good work. Way to be proactive.

The best part of the Gomery Commission is that the other parties are backing Gomery, as is the AG (another demonized public servant who speaks the truth), and the Liberals aren't stepping up to defend the Ol' Tyrant either. He's down to his own rump of old guard hasbeens.

The party is over for Chretien: This is where it starts getting good for the rest of us.
Fist in ya face, in the place
And I'll drop the style clearly
Know your enemy

*UPDATE* Hahahahahahaha... You're so done, baby. So done. Now testify.
