Spector's Fight Music
I'll cripple any hypocritic critic I'm sicked on
--Em

This is the second big battle Spector has engaged in this month. In hip hop, Spector would be known as a battle MC...in blogs? What's the name?

Anyways, it's Kinsella vs. Spector.

*DING*

--Warren is the one getting legal notices this time--
Mr Kinsella.... You are on notice to remove from your site, immediately, the libellous, malicious falsehoods you have published that you know to be untrue and/or can easily verify to be untrue using publicly available sources. Norman Spector
I'll say this for Norm: I contacted him immediately after I got threatened by Warren, and he was really cool about it and basically made me feel better about the whole thing. I'm not sure how cool I am with legal threats, however.

There's definitely a chill in the air. Maybe it's this Osaka weather.

*UPDATE* It seems that Norm didn't start this round of "legal threats"- I should have known better....Apparently, Warren started it. I'm sure we'll hear more about it soon.

*UPDATE*2* Bound By Gravity is Down By Law on this one.

An epic battle - two old school guys taking each other on through a new medium.

I'm trying to think of what the rap analogy (west coast vs. east coast?) would be appropriate here, but it sure as hell sounds like its going to be fun.

Good point. There are so many hardcore rap beefs to go through...Biggie v. 2pac (former friends), E-Z v Dre (ditto), jay-z v. Nas (same zip code), Cypress v. Ice Cube, Snoop v. Suge, 50 v Ja.....

I don't think that Norm and Warren have ever been friends, but definitely they run in the same circles and have had the same bosses (Chretien)...Tough call. Possibly Dre v. E-Z: they ran in the same circles, but because of politics and business they came apart.....

....In this one, I'd say Spector would be Dre because he seems calm and cool under pressure. Warren would probably be more like EZ because he is/seems more impulsive.. Here's a fun fact: Spector was called the Darth Vader of Canadian Politics....before Warren donned the suit.

I say dump the hip-hop and throw on a little "Thieves and Liars"

Heh. I use the quotes from that one every once and a while...Usually while addressing politicians.
Thieves!
Thieves and liars,
Murderers
Hypocrites and bastards [in laughter]

Hey thanks for nothing!
Morals in the dust
Two-faced bastards and syncophants
No trust!

(Get up!)
