Le Monde Diplo: Reviews and discounts the North Korean threat because the US considered using a nuke against them in the Korean War.
The chain in your brain is missing a link, ho.

I'm not sure how this negates the current threat, or 'alleged' threat as Le Monde implies: "The media claim that North Korea is trying to obtain and use weapons of mass destruction". How about a review of the French conduct in Algeria?
Of the 1.7 million French soldiers who served in Algeria from 1954 to 1962, 30,000 never returned; between 300,000 and a million Algerians were killed, and hundreds of thousands were placed in concentration camps, where torture was routine.

Mon Dieu! Incroyable!
