Super Tsunami Relief
The US is up to 350 M. Good work

Amazon.com is up to 8.5 M

Canada?
The Canadian government has pledged $40 million Cdn in tsunami disaster relief for the region. Ottawa has also announced a moratorium on debt for countries affected by the tsunamis, including hard-hit Indonesia which owes the most, at $588 million Cdn.

Not a bad start.

The Int'l Community is up to 600 M
UN Secretary General Kofi Annan said on Thursday that the international community had pledged some $600 million Cdn toward the relief effort, but more help was needed.

It's coming along. I think that we are going to see relief topping several billion by the time it's all said and done. This is going to be *the* relief effort of our lifetime: Bigger than band aid, farm aid or hurricane aid. We have a chance to show some love for these areas and I hope Canada steps up and gets its hands dirty. This is it-It's go time. Either we live up to our reputation, or we don't.
