Their cowboy leader should be hung up at the Bastille! Vive La Revolution! I don't need to hear their denounciations at the UN SC, we need to move diplomatically immediately against this long time ally...Obviously, the French mainland was never in danger.

Ivory Coast -- Ivorian government warplanes bombed French peacekeepers
Saturday, killing eight French soldiers and an American and prompting a French
counter-strike that threatened to escalate Ivory Coast's renewed civil war.

After the French retaliation, pro-government mobs tried to storm a
French military base near Abidjan, the country's commercial centre, witnesses
said. French troops fired in the air and lobbed tear gas at the crowd.
