Egypt was troubled by the horrible asp

The exodus from Egypt of the Israelis, fleeing terror and tyranny, has some strong religious overtones. This is especially true of the way they are returning to Israel-on foot, crossing over the Sinai and back to safety. The allusions to the Exodus are so vivid here, but so far the media has totally missed this angle. The great return of the Israelites to the homeland, forever being attacked and besieged is an everlasting image. One more tragedy. One more trial to endure.

TABA, EGYPT - Bedouin tribesmen have been arrested on suspicion they supplied explosives for car bombings at two Egyptian resorts that killed at least 34 people, officials said Saturday.

Israel urged its citizens in Egypt to return home immediately, warning that they remained in danger.

Three car bombs exploded Thursday night at resorts popular with Israeli tourists, one at the Taba Hilton just metres from the Israel border and two in Ras Shitan, a camping area south of Taba

At this point, it is too 'early' they say to point to Al-Qaida's involvement, so my analysis yesterday was completely off target.
/sarcasm off.
