Svend Robinson: West Coast Embarrassment

I already wrote a long screed about why svend is a total crack pot and a liar and how his story does not add up, but somehow blogger did not save it, so i'll give you a quick review:

1) he took way too long to confess. 4 days is a long time
2) FAS, the company he stole from, was open the whole time he was trying to "reach them"
3) He was already shopping for an engagement ring. this isn't a snap decision.
4) he didn't actually take responsibility for the theft. he blamed 'stress'. from what exactly? who knows. but he's the 'victim' here. right? what a cop out
5) he knew he was caught. he must have known, since the rcmp knew, the company knew and svend must have known there were cameras.
6) experts will tell you when a thief is caught, it is usually not the first theft. chances are, svend has been stealing for a while and simply got too cocky and careless...and a 50K ring is a little big for a first time theft.

add to that a sad history of propping up dictators, attacking jews, going on trips to cuba with fellow travellers and generally being as disrepectful to his peers, his party and to canadians as a whole, and you have a picture of a sad, hypocrite and a crook.
svend would attack anyone else in this position without mercy and so its his turn now.
