North Korea: too much pain.
what can you say about the train crash? the authorities immediately shut down the north korean communications infrastructure so that the outside wouldn't know what was going on.
because a country that would try to block the knowledge of a humanitarian disaster it couldn't handle, is evil. it is. outside aid, even from the US could help...outside emergency specialists n. korea is too poor to train could save lives...but who cares? the kim jong-il's pride is at stake! we can't hurt the ego of a stalinist, people, really. come on. heads out of the sand right now.
this is a tragedy, but its not strictly the train crash, its the whole system. socialism is a massive humanitarian disaster.
PS: is there a connection between the soviet-era line ups for bread and the line ups for socialized medicine in canada? hmm, central planning not working? don't think about! indepedent thought alarm! canada can't try anything else! must not falter! or admit defeat! cbc, please rehash the goodness of socialism, please.
