Joe Who Cares?
joe clark ruffled some feathers on sunday by suggesting that martin would make a better pm than harper.

like joe clark knows what it takes to be a pm.

he couldn't even count the number mp's on hand. mr 6 month pm. anyways, the conservatives showed their political youth once more by responding to clark stating he was a 'traitor' etc. and thus pissing off a good portion of their own caucus.

joe is probably thinking this is the best possible outcome.

first of all, he sets himself up for a political appointment as a senior statesman, who is non partisan now that he will support the 'best person at the local level'. in joe who lingo, that means who ever is both wishy washy and somehow completely indifferent to the fact that things have changed over the last 20 years.

thus, his support of ed broadbent.

secondly, joe gets to play up the wedge between the conservatives he wishes to destroy. the self serving fool has no interest in seeing his old party or a healthy canadian democracy and is attempting to destroy the right with his irrelevant banter by his maximum exposure on the sunday morning circuit.

the conservatives could have just laughed him off. a retiring, dithering old fool without any political relevance. he went against the historical and political forces of the right and now wants to kill off the success he couldn't achieve himself. he deserves nothing of a response from the conservatives.

fools are generally patted on the head and sent out spend their days amongst their own (the senate).

let's not give joe the attention he wants. ignore mode on.
