CBC vs. Canadian Conservatives:
as usual, the cbc tries to paint the right as divided, internally conflicted and always stumbling.

MONCTON — Conservative supporters and MPs across the Maritimes are divided on who should lead their party into the next election.
This weekend, party members will choose their leader. In the running are former Alliance Party leader Stephen Harper, former Ontario health minister Tony Clement and car-parts millionaire and long-time party strategist Belinda Stronach.
------------------------
they polled some no-name conservative mp who offered this gem:
Cumberland-Colchester MP Bill Casey is a supporter of Belinda Stronach because she wants to make jobs a top priority. "She has a better handle on the economy of the country."
yikes.
does this half-wit realize that harper has a bachelors and masters in...(wait for it..)
economics?
and that belinda has all the credentials of a ........
well...
spoiled rich girl first year college dropout. oh and she ran magna with the help of dad and friends.
anyways
i'm surprised that there would even be any consideration for a novelty candidate. this isn't the time to go with a total wild card with no potential upside.
so much bs.
belinda has some progressive viewpoints, but she is way out of her league. if she wins this thing, the conservatives are facing another stockwell day. at least day was experienced...and he's probably more intelligent.
