What's that? someone takes notice of public spending?
The canadian alliance, the canadian taxpayer's federation and canwest are holding the government's feet to the fire with these finds of questionable government spending. i expect mr chretien to take immediate action, apologize to the nation, and fire those responsible....hmm. i'd expect that from any third rate leader.

you have the artsy schmuck who rips off canada left and right....mostly left, i bet:
"You have to see your colleagues, you have to maintain your presence, you have to lobby for shows, you have to know what's cooking."

what's cooking is a scandal, you totally corrupt scumbag.

You have the needlessly travelling wannabe queen, who doesn't realize she's not part of the royal family:
"I am above politics," she said in an interview

as a wise man once said "nobody's above an asswhuppin'", not even adrienne clarkson...miss "i'm adrienne clarkson and you're not". thank god for that. anyone with that attitude hardly qualifies as a canadian, nevermind our representative.

and the slush fund vet of the native rights set asking for 1 million for his 'office':
"There's always a difference between what you request and what you get," he said.

i should hope so: as in 'i hope you get zero of what you ask for'.
