if you read the article they act like strange bedfellows, even allowing for the possibility of failure, but that is the red herring of the year....they have to merge and they know it.

the national post has reported today that the alliance dropped their 'one member, one vote' policy. well, thank god. i'm all for more democracy, but the last alliance party leadership convention was a snorer. a delegate lead conference will be vigorous battle with one party coming out together after a ritual hazing.
