Warren Kinsella: Liberal strategist strategist...and..surprise! a lawyer.
Here's an entertaining site . His little review of Johnny Rotten's speech is quite revealing. I realized Rotten was past due....he had his time, and it was good. Now he is just cashing in on the brief revolutionary moments.

back to mr. kinsella, here's a snapshot of his views:

June 25, 2003 - God in Heaven, I never thought I would say this, but I miss the guy [Conrad Black]. I mean it. I really, actually, honestly miss him. He's smart, he's funny, and he has style to spare. (The fact that he's making nice with my man Chretien doesn't hurt, either.) Here's the story, which prompted all of this wistful longing for, er, Lord Crosshair or whatever the Hell he calls himself:

Why pick on this? Because when black owned the post, you'd never have heard him say this. the whole canadian media establishment would pounce on black at any turn. he brought together the best and brightest of the canadian conservatives (and some not so conservatives) and gave them an interesting forum. how did the rest of the threatened, conformist canadian media react? with the same self-conscious hatred it displays towards the US on a daily basis.

This little "i miss him so" is a throw away remark now that Black is out of the canadian media game. Oh sigh, warren, you can't kick the man around now. so dishonest, and lacking anything of substance. all this remark means is that kinsella can appear to be good person deep down "oh yes i know i nailed black when i could, but we're all good friends. i'm a good guy".

If black still ran the NP, but was in england and was not contributing to the paper, warren/greenspon/et al would be preaching about how black is a tyrant and an american turncoat etc, etc. purely on the basis of ideology. Garbage!

Having said that, i've added Kinsella to my list of links! ;)
