Bush is the biggest spender since Imelda Marcos, and is a social conservative....meanwhile, the left is filled with statist types with no intention of keeping the books straight..

So here is the right wing's small and influential gay lobby. Just something to think about. I think if there is a explicit acceptance of gays in the republican party, it could get ugly in the US. even the democrats won't say one way or another about gay marriage or gay lifestyles. its different down there.

Again, with flagging sales, the industry looks to rehash the old, reliable artists who can sellout another tour singing their old hits, while trying to fly their new "stuff". Duran Duran, REM, Paul McCartney, Depeche Mode and David Lee Roth are only a few of the most notorious. They were all quality artists at one time or another who can still do well making loads of money on never ending goodbye tours where middle age fans can re-live their youth over and over.

Having said that...i..er...love duran duran and hope they come to vancouver so i can watch!

hmmm, 20 mill? for a genre that has owned pop music for the last 5-6 years and been in the mainstream for well over 20 years? unbelievable. That is incredible...if some of the hip hop artists could stay healthy and alive they might challenge duran duran's 60 mill one day. In terms of pure power, hussle and staying power, dr. dre, snoop and eminem may go the long haul. Although, dre is a little old now and eminem started a little later than snoop (they are the same almost the same age)...although i think overall eminem has more records sold..snoop has 14 million sold.
