Khatami says he'll resign? why? the supposed 'reformer' will leave the head post when the people need him most? i think he has been compromised by the ayatollahs...its almost as if he's threatening the people of iran so they will stand down. i don't think the people or iran are so angry with khatami as they are with the mega-tyrants, the mullahs.

khatami should use his position to force through the reforms now that the mullahs are weak and vulnerable. use your position to change for the better. make up for lost time with positive reforms. everyone knows that khatami has not used his position effectively, but he can make it better. this is his chance to make a difference for his people and come out on top.
