Calm Like A Bomb
News from the frontline in the battle for Liberty! Equality! Fraternity!:

High unemployment and frustration with Iran's strict Islamic laws have fed discontent among the overwhelmingly youthful population. Around 70 percent of Iranians are under 30 and have little memory of life before the revolution.

In Sam Huntington's "Clash of Civilization's" he theorizes that for a revolution to begin (social, cultural, etc), there must be a critical mass of people between the ages of 18-24 of about 20% of the population.....he uses several examples of this...(1960's, The Baby Boomers...et al). Now Iran may or may not be hitting this critical mass, but it appears as though it is.
